Just a few of the qualities that I admire about my husband as he fathers our son.  Watching him as a dad has only deepened my love for him.  

Becoming a parent has also deepened my appreciation, respect, and admiration for my own father.  His godly character and unconditional love set a high standard and paved the way for me to fall in love with a man like Jonathan.      

And Jonathan would not be the man he is without his own father.  He may be my father-in-law, but his genuine care for and generosity toward me have made me feel loved as his own from the very beginning.    

I pray that Riggins will learn from the examples of these three men and follow in their footsteps as a man devoted to Christ, with a humble confidence, a dedication to discipline and excellence, and a compassionate love for others.
