On Living in a City

It is nice to live in a city. There are always fun new things to do, and it seems that those opportunities double during the summer. Here in Memphis, the famous Peabody Hotel hosts a rooftop party each Thursday night. Live music, a beautiful view of the city and the river, and quality people watching.

Oh, the people watching. On one roof, scantily-clad college students, classy young professionals, and cute older couples find themselves enjoying an evening out. It is a smorgasbord of Memphians.

Only one problem...

You get a little windblown. We joined our friends Matt and Aston on the roof. They are our partners in crime for taking advantage of Memphis hot spots and events. We like them a whole bunch. They are leaving in August for Matt to start his externships and that makes me very, very sad.

But we have the rest of the summer to enjoy and you can bet we're going to soak it up!

That's really neat to have couple friends. It's hard to find good ones. I'm glad you at least get to hang out with them for the summer!
